Now that Major Roberto Viquez has joined the Elgin Lions, the club has become more involved with the Fox Valley Young Marines and their leaders, Executive Officer Sandra Fidanzia and Unit Commander Courtney Gutierrez.  The Young Marines meet at the American Legion as do the Lions and their mission of "Strengthening the lives of America's youth" fits nicely with the Lions.

On Saturday, March 16, eleven Young Marines and their leaders helped with the monthly food pantry service at the Salvation Army.
